Even tough most people are Muslim in Turkey, they are not extremely conservative. Especially in the coastal areas and beach destinations. But do not forget wear conservative clothes when visiting mosques and rural areas.

There are 18 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Turkey. And, there are also 78 sites that are the Tentative List for World Heritage status. Turkey is incredibly rich in culture, and history.

9. Do not miss out on what Turkey has to offer besides Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus and Pamukkale

When people think of Turkey, most people think of Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus and Pamukkale. But there are other prosperous historical places to visit like Gobeklitepe, Pergamos, Troy and amazing turistic places to have a holiday like Alacati, Bodrum, Fethiye and Kas.

10. Do not limit your time in Turkey to few days

If you want to travel multiple cities and historical places in Turkey, you at least need to reserve your 2 weeks to travel properly.
